Questions
- Is my donor data uploaded?
- No. The file is opened by this page inside your browser, and the PDFs are created there too. Nothing about your donors is sent anywhere. You can even disconnect from the internet after the page loads.
- What goes on each statement?
- Your letterhead, the donor's name and address, the statement period, each gift (or totals by fund), the total, your thank-you message, an optional goods-and-services statement and a signature line. See the sample statement.
- Do I have to send statements?
- Donors need a written acknowledgment for any single gift of $250 or more to claim a deduction, and churches commonly send statements by January 31. Read the IRS rules summary. This is not tax or legal advice.
- What's saved?
- Your organization details and column choices are remembered in this browser (localStorage) for next time. Pro also saves your logo and templates.
